Carlsbad Adult Respite Care
The Carlsbad Adult Respite Care Center provides loving care, social opportunities, age-appropriate physical activities and mentally stimulating endeavors for senior citizens in and around Carlsbad. Carlsbad Family Health Center (Presbyterian Medical Services)
Presbyterian Medical Services provides a primary care safety net for thousands of New Mexicans of all ages. PMS accepts private pay, Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance. PMS also provides support for a wide range of behavioral health conditions including crisis intervention, comprehensive assessments, individual and family counseling, psychiatric consultation and medications, substance abuse programs and educational groups.

CARC INC. provides assistance for children and adults facing developmental disabilities and delays. The unique, non-profit organization facilitates an encompassing range of opportunities to help developmentally disabled individuals achieve a fulfilling lifestyle based on their own needs and desires.
Lakeview Christian Home
A Continuing Care Retirement Community, Lakeview Christian Home offers many levels of care for Seniors and others needing personalized care. Our Independent Living is housed on four campuses comprising of River Bend Retirement Community, Lakeview Villages, Northgate Villages and the Parkhouse Villages for residents 55 and over.
Assisted Living is located on our main campus at 1905 W Pierce St and provides private rooms with kitchenettes and a separate dining hall where residents can enjoy three meals per day. Nurses and staff are available if needed. A beauty and barber shop, along with social activities and religious services keep residents active and engaged.
Long-term care is provided in the Nursing Home at Northgate as well as the Landsun Unit located on Westridge, formerly Landsun Homes. Skilled Nursing, Physical Therapy, Home Health and Hospice are all part of the senior care provided. Heaton House, the first of four planned new construction wings was completed in 2014 providing a state-of-the-art facility in a home like family atmosphere. The second wing with 24 beds is currently under construction at the Northgate location and is due to be completed in early to mid-2021.
Lakeview Christian Home has been in operation as a Christian nursing home since 1960 and is approaching its 60 year anniversary of serving Carlsbad and the surrounding community.
The Good Life
Good Life Senior Living has been in Carlsbad since 2008. The program focuses on limiting the number of residents in homes and making sure highly trained staff is available to help with medication, assistance, bathing and dressing.
